Andrew Olah
CEO
Since 1976, Andrew has worked in textile development and marketing in more than 30 countries. Under his guidance, Olah Inc. has grown from a simple textile agency firm to a full-service textile company offering marketing, product development, consultancy services, education and sales in textiles and apparel.
An ideas person, Andrew has changed the way the denim industry does business. In 2004 he created the Kingpins Show – the first-ever denim supply chain trade show. The show now hosts editions in New York, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and China and has spun-off related events, including Kingpins Transformers, a summit series spotlighting members of the denim community who are committed to creating, implementing and sharing the changes that need to happen in the jeans industry to make it more environmentally viable, socially responsible and financially sound.
Andrew believes in creating community and sharing ideas. To that end, he is a regular speaker at industry events and helps produce a class on jeans brand development at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
